Hits...

have a great surgery and hope you enjoy it.
I wish you get the cutest nurses and the friendliest doctors.

I don't think riding back home after surgery will be a good idea. So you may want to ask someone to give you a lift.

:)
I don't mind coming to work, but this 6-hour wait to get back on the bike is irritating.

The surgery was done on Saturday. I passed out with the general anaesthesia so no idea reg any cute nurses but thedamn GB was finally rid of. My question was more from when is a good time to resume. I was thinking like next monday or such if the pain goes away completely

If it's an open surgery, give the stitches time to heal to avoid herniation of intestines; I would say atleast 3 to 6 months.
Not sure how soon you can resume in case of laparoscopic though, but must be much sooner than the open one.

Thanks.
Its the laparascopic procedure. The pain from the 'holes' is mostly gone but there's still some pain when i go over speedbreakers in the car. Resuming work from home tomorrow only. Let's see how I can make it work.

You could probably have gotten a great road bike for that money. Anyway, I guess you have different priorities.

Get well soon buddy.

7 days technically.

Hopefully 8 days in practice. Will have a slow gentle ride tomorrow. The tummy is holding up regular spirited driving on gurgaon moonscapes.
