Great offer, but why don't you share your experience on the forum where we can all benefit (or peer review)?

Tiger blood for me. My friend Ricco is getting back into cycling after unavoidable illness and wants good quality blood bags this time.

Just wanted to share my experience in weight loss. I used to be very much over weight and several attempts failed before as I used to give up regular exercising after finding out that I did not lose much in 2 weeks. This time I controlled my diet along with regular exercising (cycling). I counted every calorie I ate and relied on lots of fresh vegetable, protein and controlled carbs and no out side food, no fatty stuff (ghee, butter etc.) and QUIT SMOKING. I did not weigh myself before six months. Just followed my diet schedule and daily strict exercise. After six months I lost 13kgs. The weight loss later decreased gradually although I followed the same diet with more cycling. Then I thought of cross training and started running about 6km a day four days a week and have found the rate of weight loss has gone up (2kgs in 4 weeks). I used to weigh about 90kgs at 169cm in March10. Now I weigh 70kgs. I also have lost 6in of waist. My stamina and flexibility have gone up by a mile I think. I think if you stick to a particular training and conscious diet regularly and forget about the results the results will follow...

Must. Not. Let. The. Wife. Read. This.

I was at 95-97 went down to 88 in about 5 odd months, now back to 93-95 range after a break. Of course, I barely controlled diet (very low oil usage at home - simple healthy veg food but alot of it!) & did enjoy the occasional biscuits/samosas/birthday cake in office.

Kudos to you on a well deserved change in life

Hi All,
I have been cycling for the past one month. I cycle to work three days a week which is 34 km per day. I have also done weekend rides of distances ranging between 40km-50km. My height is 174 cm, weight 60kg and age 24. I want to know when is the best time to eat proteins - before a ride or after a ride? For me proteins means sprouts. How rich in proteins are sprouts?

First of all all the following info is from internet. So if you wan to know more ask google...

Whenever your body is in demand of protein you should eat protein, i.e. immediately after workout and after waking up (when you need most). Working out breaks your muscle fibers and you need protein to rebuild them and in the morning as your glycogen store is low and your body is in catabolic state. It is suggested that you eat protein before exercise. It is also suggested to maintain protein intake in each meal as the source of calories (certain % depending on your goal). Too much excess protein is also bad for health.
