Suggest a bike trip from Chennai

3 of us are planning a bike trip from Chennai for 2-3 days. We want to do about 40-50 kms a day. Do any of you have any suggestions? Pondy seems interesting, but too long. Is there any way we can break the Pondy trip over 2 days and stay overnight somewhere for a day?

Break in Mahabalipuram? That's a 60km ride out of Madras followed by the 100 from there onto Pondy.

actually even i was looking for a decent trip but something much longer than this .. 40 to 50km a day is like a lil too short for me. Maybe a 100 or 120km a day is what i m targeting. Looking for people and routes as well!!


Edit: look around TNCC, you are likely to find ppl who can suggest routes around madras, not many guys here are from madras!

how about Chennai to Pulicat lake(ard sriharikota). No clue about the road conditions.

better we can go to pondy im also intrested make trip in weekdays it will be good lets enjoy sinlg ride ..... what say guyz
