Once I met Abhi at wheelsports. It so happened that Doc D, Vandit and Sumit were also present. I joked to him that 25% of the content in bikezone is right here right now. So true :)

I got a 2 year head start for those 50 posts. So, you're the faster rider(writer?). ;)

Most of my posts, I'm guessing, would be in 'Ride Stories'.

Well again I would like to thank all the guys over there for all the contributions as I had re-discovered cycling after a gap of 25 years that too after a hair line fracture (AT BACK OF KNEE) and I could recover 90% of my thigh muscle strength within a month or so of cycling and gradually became normal within 4 months.

but again Instead of going for a NORMAL CYCLE (MACH) I ended up with two cycles plus accessories & thought my son also deserves a better cycle and again higher spending... but worth investment..

Actually, the forum itself can tell you about its history. Just go to any of the sub-forums like 'Ride Stories' and go to the last pages to get a taste of what it was like back then.

As for who started the forum, it was started by Abhi in 2003(?): One of the earliest ride stories from him, viewtopic.php?f=10&t=140

....and of course the great mother of all thread award goes to the epic war thread - MTB vs Road Bike. In fact there are some brilliant ride stories and informative thread if you just dig into the past. Sadly, there are no more ride stories coming in these days.
