I'll set the wheels turning... by reviewing a Saddle, my favourite one
San Marco Rolls: - I've said a few things about it earlier, got this from Wiggle in a neat package; time for an update after nearly 1400kms.

Old School Black Leather with Gold and not designed like an airplane wing; may not go down well in the looks department with many, but with saddles that should hardly be issue. Yes the in some places even the old obsolete design works well, ones' posterior may be one of them.
Pros- The design of the saddle is such that it doesn't cut through the inner thigh near the crotch, the narrow length of the saddle nose sits comfortably between the thighs & offers an extra length provides a lot of room to shift around as per necessity. The wide backside of the saddle covers the entire bum area quite neatly. The material is of the saddle also provides enough grip to avoid an sliding & the padding is just right to my liking, it's not bouncy soft too. Instructions didn't ask for any maintenance unlike a Brooks. According to me its a great price.
Cons- To some it may feel heavier, Due to the design it has limited rail space. Being leather if it's wet it's more prone to damage. Since it's not just a Leather on Rails so the breathability is a bit limited. That's about all I can think after 1400kms & some 3months of use.
Conclusion- It's simple elegant & does the job well but I can't say it's better than Brooks unless I use one, which I've been contemplating for some time now.
