There's no logic for that.. if u r underweight u tend to gain weight after a proper schedule of workout. one tends to be more hungry (and the body needs more to cover the wear n tear) so eat more. It is normal. for overweight ppl it goes down.

that was same for me from 15 to 10yrs back, from when i was in college till 2-3 yrs on work. I had 12 packs (others being ribs)
. weight n body would go up after a month of heavy workout but would again go down if i left exercise.
then lifestlye change n all 4yrs back my weight went up to 74kgs!!! other end of spectrum!!
now for last 2 yrs hovering around 67-68kg, trying to get down to 65!
so i would say for u, its normal if you feel normal and healty and active.
eat healthy, workout n stay healthy.
