Looking for Triathletes in Bangalore !

Postby avpant » July 26th, 2012, 8:40 am

Hi Everyone, I might have registered way back but am kind-of new to BZ.. am also new to Bangalore..
Used to love taking part in triathlons when I lived in the US about 5-6 years ago.. Am keen to get back and if I can pull it off; would love to target an Ironman70.3 next year.. I am really thrilled to see some very active triathletes and Ironmans on the forum (Dipankar your race reports rock !)
Am looking for inspiration, the chance to share notes, ride together, possibly train together and also if I am to pull off a 70.3 next year; need to put some milestones down (like an Oly a few months down etc). Would be great to hook up with the triathletes on this forum and take this further !

cheers
Avinash

You can get in touch with Dr Arvind , Ameet Bhide, Manula , Aditya Pishupati, all in Bangalore.
All the above people have taken part and completed the Singapore 70.3
Hope this helps

Suma Rao also, I think?
Don't know about the swimming, but Avinash, as you know I'm always up for a bike-run brick. There's still more Bangalore guys who definitely run and bike well, to varying levels of ability -- among them Ravi Ranjan Kumar, Shreyas Kumar, Thoudam Opendro Singh, Chidambaran Subramanian, Shrinivas Gokulnath, Sudhir Palliyil, Venkatachalam Ramakrishnan, etc. Should in fact be pretty easy to find someone within your pace range.
