Looks like a great product. But at $300, its quite expensive. :)

Yup! I have my doubts about how breathable that suit is. Nevertheless, a cool product worth sharing.

If this is for a brevet I'd suggest don't waste your money. For the rains we get here, there's no 1 solution. I vent thru 2-3 different types of jackets (thankfully not greatly expensive like such) to realize there's no perfect solution.

light-breathable jackets single layered : light so less weight to lug around, doesn't get you all sweaty.... but doesn't keep you dry either atleast with rains here in Maharashtra! and doesn't keep you warm atall. verdict - useless, unless you have a light drizzle & during the day time.

double layered : looks to be like the perfect solution, but doesn't pack small, so a issue to carry around! able to keep mild rain out, but gets hot (still bearable)though just no use in heavy rains! verdict - still useless! though is a good thing to have during cooler nights to keep you warm.

thick layer ones: never thought I'd be wearing one of these ever but have tried them on 1 to 2 rides! Very heavy & only way to carry around is to wear it. Great for heavy rains but gets fking hot! very good for for cold nights or for a cold place but certainly not for Maharashtra.

what I've realized is trying to keep yourself dry on a long ride is just a futile effort & only plays on your mind. So I now carry a single layer jacket which is primarily just a protection from windchill and keeping myself clean!
People will assume you're saving the planet and/or riding for a cause even if all you want to do is enjoy riding

^^^ my kashmir to kanyakumari jacket ki kahani :)

Less than 100 hrs of rainfall a year is the Indian average, I'll take my chances with the rain. On the commute I am content with keeping luggage (almost) dry.

Shankar, nope I'm packing light for brevets. Don't have $300 to burn either. I'm sticking with my bTwin rain jacket that doubles as an extra layer when it gets cold. :D
Btw, Showers Pass makes some super rainwear. I tried this one http://www.showerspass.com/catalog/men/mens-jackets/pro-tech-st and liked it.
