Hi All,
Yesterday after an 80 km ride, rear tire and tube on my Mach both burst all of a sudden. The tire and tube are 10 days old and were ridden for around 165 km. There was almost 25 mm cut in the tire and 3 mm radius hole in the tube. These are local makes (GK International, no clue about tub brand). When I went to the dealer, they were giving stupid reasons that tube had lots of air etc. Infact I am using a hand pump so the tire pressure is not as high as when I was running with stock tires (less than 70-75 psi). And a tube will burst but why a tire?
Now my question is does riding in Rains makes the tires soft? 10 days back when I was riding in the rain, older tire 700 km (which had some bubbles) became extremely soft and tube got a big puncture. Shop fellow replaced the tire without any questions asked. I ride only on Tar roads, Nh4 or city roads. The new one burst. I never had these issues when I was on stock which did close to 2000 km
Did anyone else face such issues anytime.
Regards
Rahul
